Answer:

yes, we can have  SUB-CATEGORIES in the listing of classifieds. and listing feature items from the classifieds on home page. which will make more sense than now and will be provided image options to hold each classified. We dont have module particularly for this. And it can be submitted with in your expected time for this development with testing.

Image options for events and classifieds?

Answer:

User can have images for events and classifieds with our module. Its embedded like regular functionality and it gives attention of members to the events and classifieds. We are implementing this with option of multiple images to hold single event or classified. and slide show will be used to view all the images of a event.

(1) I would  like  to create   SUBCATEGORIES  in the listings on my Classifieds. What  is the  MOD that will
allow me to do this?

(2) What MOD. would allow me to FEATURE  items from the Classifieds on my  homepage?

The above features built in the phpfox itself. Creating sub categories and making featured classifieds  can be found and moderated in the admin panel.
